Your referral link and code are at Settings › Referrals. Copy the link, or share it by email, text, LinkedIn, Facebook or X.

They sign up free
The business you refer creates a free MakeHay account from your link, or enters your code on the sign-up page. No plan, no trial, no card. Their first month of No MakeHay branding is free.

You get 3 months
When they take their first online payment on MakeHay, by card or ACH, or add a paid add-on, 3 months of the No MakeHay branding add-on go on your account. Months stack, and five activated referrals make it free for life.

Who can I refer?
Any service business that isn't on MakeHay yet. They sign up free from your link, with no plan, no trial and no card. Businesses that already use MakeHay can't be referred.
What counts as activated?
A referral activates when the business you referred takes its first online payment on MakeHay, by card or ACH through MakeHay, or adds a paid add-on. That's the moment your 3 months are added.
When are the months added?
As soon as the referral activates. The months go on the end of what you already have, whether that's months you earned or an add-on you pay for.
Do the months stack with an add-on I pay for?
Yes. Referral months stack with each other and with No MakeHay branding you already pay for. Every reward is added to the end of what you already have.
Is there a limit?
No. Every activated referral adds 3 months, and once five of them activate, No MakeHay branding is free for life on your account.
