Change your card, switch billing or cancel an add-on
Use Manage billing on Settings › Add-ons to see receipts, update your card, switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel.

Receipts, your card, switching between monthly and yearly, and canceling all happen on Stripe's billing page, which you open from MakeHay.
- Step 1: Open Settings › Add-ons.
- Step 2: Click Manage billing on the add-on's card, or the Manage billing link at the bottom of the page.
- Step 3: Stripe's billing page opens. Make your change there.
- Step 4: Follow the link back to return to Settings › Add-ons.
What the add-on's card tells you
- The price and the renewal date, such as "$90 per year · renews Oct 10, 2027".
- After you cancel, "Cancels" and a date. The add-on stays on until then.
- If a payment failed, a line asking you to update your card under Manage billing. The add-on stays on while Stripe tries the payment again.
- During free months you earned, "Free until" and a date. After that it continues at the monthly price on your card on file if you have one. Otherwise it switches off.
When an add-on ends
- No MakeHay branding: emails say "via MakeHay" again, the "Powered by MakeHay" badge comes back on quotes, invoices and the customer portal, and "Website by MakeHay" comes back in your website's footer.
- Website: the site stays up for 14 days, then goes offline. A domain you bought stays yours to renew.
Good to know: Canceling keeps the add-on on until the end of what you've paid for.
