Check that your request form is working
See how often your form was opened and how many requests it brought in over 30 days, and send visitors back to your site after they submit.
- Who can do this
- People with the Request forms permission
Each request form counts how often it's opened and how many requests it brings in. It's the quickest way to tell that your link or website code is doing its job.
- Step 1: Go to Settings › Request forms.
- Step 2: Click the arrow on the form's card to open its details.
- Step 3: Read the three numbers under Form is live.
- Opened · 30d: how many times the form loaded in the last 30 days, wherever you shared it. Repeat visits from the same internet connection count once an hour, and your own visits count too.
- Requests · 30d: requests sent from this form in the last 30 days, not counting spam.
- Converted: requests as a share of opens. It shows a dash until the form has been opened.
Test it yourself
Open the page on your own website where you put the form. Then reload Settings › Request forms and check that Opened · 30d went up. To test the whole trip, send a request through it and look for it in Requests. You can archive the test afterward.
Good to know: If the count doesn't move, make sure Form is live is on. A form that's off shows a not found page and counts nothing.
Tip: If you're the account owner, the Put a quote-request form on your website item on your Dashboard checks itself off the first time one of your forms is opened or a request comes in.
Send visitors back to your site
Click Edit on the form. Under After they submit, enter a page on your website in Redirect after submit, such as a thank-you page, starting with https://. Click Save form. Visitors see your thank-you message for a couple of seconds, then go to that page.
For all your forms together, the Requests page shows Received · 30 days and Converted · 30 days, the share of those requests you converted.
