The Website add-on is $197 a month, or $1,970 a year (2 months free). Your phone, email, address, hours and logo come from Settings, so they stay current on their own.
- Step 1: Go to Settings › Website.
- Step 2: Pick Monthly or Yearly.
- Step 3: Click Add Website for $197/month (it shows the yearly price if you picked Yearly) and pay on the Stripe checkout page.
- Step 4: When you come back, the questionnaire opens. Answer it and add your photos. See Fill in the website questionnaire.
A person at MakeHay builds the first version and emails you a link when it is ready to look at, usually within 1 to 2 business days. From then on you change anything you like and publish when you say.
What's included
- The contact page is your request form: every lead lands in Requests with photos and the job site address.
- Built for you by a person at MakeHay from your account, a short questionnaire and your photos.
- A page per service and per town you serve, with the titles and structured data search engines read.
- Your own domain, free for the first year: connect one you have, or pick a new one.
Good to know
- Pages follow MakeHay's layouts: you change the words, photos, colors and fonts, hide, move and add sections, and add pages from starters, but you don't design a layout from scratch.
- From the second year a domain bought through MakeHay renews at the registrar’s yearly price, billed to you before each renewal.
- If the add-on ends, the site stays up for 14 days, then goes offline. A domain you bought stays yours to renew.
Tip: Not the owner? Settings › Website shows Copy a link for the owner. Send it to them. The owner can also add the website under Settings › Add-ons.
