Make sure customer replies reach you
Emails to your customers come from your company name, and replies go to your business email. Set that address in Settings › Company.

Every email your customers get from MakeHay is sent on your behalf. Here's what they see and where their replies go.
- The sender name is your company name followed by via MakeHay. With the No MakeHay branding add-on, it's your company name alone.
- Replies go to the Business email in Settings › Company. If that's blank, they go to the owner's login email.
- The footer of most emails tells the customer that replying reaches you directly.
- Automated emails, like reminders and review requests, also carry an unsubscribe link, plus your postal address once you've entered one in Settings › Company.
Set your business email
- Step 1: Open Settings, then Company.
- Step 2: Enter the address you want replies to go to in Business email.
- Step 3: Click Save changes.
Tip: To see exactly what a customer sees, use Send me a test in Settings › Emails or on any automation. The test has the same sender name and reply address as the real email.
