See a customer's history and what they owe
A customer's page shows what they've paid you, what they owe and what's past due, with their quotes, jobs and invoices one tab away.
- Who can do this
- People with the View customers permission
Open a customer from Customers to see their whole record on one page.
Money at a glance
Two numbers sit near the top of the page, under the buttons:
- Lifetime value adds up everything they've paid on their invoices.
- Open balance is what's still owed on invoices you've sent. Drafts don't count. When some of it is overdue, the past due amount shows in red underneath.
Under their phone and email you'll also see their Lead source and Payment terms. To change them, click Edit. See Change a customer's details and contacts.
Their quotes, jobs and invoices
- Quotes lists each quote with its number, job site, status and total. New quote starts one with this customer already picked.
- Jobs lists each job with its status and, if it came from a quote, the quote's total. Repeating jobs show how often they repeat. New job adds a job for this customer.
- Invoices lists each invoice with its number, due date, status and total. Late ones are marked Overdue. New invoice opens the New invoice page, where you pick the customer yourself.
Click any row to open it. A tab with nothing in it yet offers Create quote, New job or Create invoice instead.
Counts on the tabs
A number on Messages counts their messages you haven't read. A number on Files counts documents they uploaded that are waiting for you to approve or deny.
Tip: To see everyone who owes you money, not just this customer, see Track unpaid and overdue invoices.
