What MakeHay costs

MakeHay is free. There's no plan to pick, no trial and no card needed to sign up. Your whole team is included, with no fee per person.

Online payments

When a customer pays you online by card or bank transfer, MakeHay takes a 1.5% platform fee and Stripe takes its processing fee. Both come out of your payout, so nothing is billed to you for payments.

Checks and cash you record yourself are free.

Tip: To have your customer pay the fees instead, turn on Customer pays the fees in Settings › Payments. See Have your customer pay the online payment fees.

Add-ons

Add-ons are optional, and each has its own switch in Settings › Add-ons. Paying yearly costs less.

• No MakeHay branding: $9 a month, or $90 a year (2 months free).
• Website: $197 a month, or $1,970 a year (2 months free).

With the Website add-on, MakeHay pays the first year of a new domain you get through it. From the second year, that domain renews at the registrar's yearly price, which you see before you pick the name, and MakeHay bills you before each renewal. See Connect your own domain or get a new one.
