Find a customer, quote or invoice fast with search
Search finds customers, quotes, invoices, jobs, requests and job sites from anywhere in MakeHay, and jumps to common actions.
Search looks across your whole account at once, so you don't have to open the right list first.
- Step 1: Click Search at the top of the menu, or the magnifying glass at the top of the screen on a phone. On a computer you can also press Cmd+K (Ctrl+K on Windows), or the / key when you aren't typing in a box.
- Step 2: Type at least two characters of a name, email, phone number, address, or a quote or invoice number.
- Step 3: Pick a result to open it, or press Enter to open the first one.
Under Actions, search also offers shortcuts such as New quote, New client and New invoice.
Tip: Search only shows what your permissions let you see. If a teammate can't find something you can, check their permissions.
