Use MakeHay on your phone
MakeHay runs in your phone's web browser. Add it to your home screen, then use the menu, search and the + button from the top bar.

MakeHay works in your phone's web browser, so there's nothing to download from an app store. The phone menu has the same pages as the computer menu.
Put MakeHay on your home screen
- Step 1: Open makehay.io in your phone's browser and sign in.
- Step 2: On an iPhone, in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, in Chrome, open the browser menu and tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Step 3: Tap the new MakeHay icon. It opens straight to your Dashboard, without the browser's address bar.
Getting around
- The menu button at the top left opens the full menu, with Settings at the bottom. A number on it means a customer is waiting on you.
- The sparkle button at the bottom right opens the help assistant, and its life ring button, Help & feedback, reaches the MakeHay team.
- The + button at the top right starts a New quote, New customer or New invoice, depending on your permissions.
- The magnifying glass opens search.
- Your initials at the top right open your account menu, where you'll find Sign out.
- In Settings, the button at the top names the section you're in. Tap it to switch sections.
Tip: On your Dashboard, each of today's and tomorrow's visits has a button to call the customer and one for directions to the job site, when a phone number and address are on file. A visit's details on the Calendar have the same two buttons.
Good to know: MakeHay needs a data or Wi-Fi connection to load pages and save your changes.
