Change your name or sign-in email

Change your own name from Account in your account menu. Your sign-in email can't be edited there, but the email customers reply to can be changed.

Your account menu holds your own details: your name and the email you sign in with. Anyone on the team can change their own name.

Change your name

  1. Step 1: Open your account menu. On a computer, it's your name at the bottom of the menu. On a phone, it's your initials at the top right.
  2. Step 2: Choose Account. The Your account window opens.
  3. Step 3: Type your new Name and click Save.

Your name shows in your Dashboard greeting. Your teammates also see it in the activity on quotes and invoices.

Your sign-in email

The Your account window shows your Sign-in email, but you can't edit it there. The account owner can't change it for you in Settings › Team either.

Good to know: Password reset links go to your sign-in email, so make sure you can still get mail there.

Change the email customers reply to

The address your customers reply to is a separate setting: the Business email in Settings › Company. Owners, and people with the Company profile permission, can change it any time. See Make sure customer replies reach you.
