- Owners, and people with the Manage automations permission
Quote follow-up emails a customer who hasn't answered a quote, with the total and a link back to it.
- Step 1: Open Automations from the main menu.
- Step 2: Turn on the switch next to Quote follow-up.
- Step 3: Open the row and pick the Days to wait: 2 days, 3 days, 5 days or 7 days.
- Step 4: Click Save.
When it sends
- Once the days you picked have passed since the quote was sent.
- Only while the customer hasn't approved the quote or asked for changes, and you haven't voided it.
- Never after the quote's Valid until date.
- One follow-up per quote, never more.
- To the address the quote was last emailed to, or else the customer's primary contact.
- Not to a customer who unsubscribed from your automated emails.
While a follow-up is waiting, the quote's Activity shows a Reminder scheduled row with the day it should go out. Click Preview email on that row to read it.
Tip: The follow-up uses the Quote follow-up email in Settings › Emails. Change its wording there.
Good to know: Turning the switch off stops any follow-ups that haven't gone out yet.
