Yes. The CSV import wizard takes any spreadsheet export, auto-maps the columns, and creates customers, contacts, and job sites together. And if a file fights you, email support@makehay.io and a real person will help.

How do new leads get in?

Through your request form: put it on your website with one line of script, or share its link anywhere. A request becomes a customer, a job site and a draft quote in one tap. The full story is on the request forms page.

Is there a limit on customers or job sites?

No. Customers, contacts, job sites, quotes, and invoices are unlimited on the free plan.

Do my customers get a portal?

Yes. One private link per customer, no account to create. They see upcoming visits, messages, documents, quotes, and invoices with balances, and they can message you, upload documents you request, and see any contract awaiting their e-signature (they sign from the link MakeHay emails them). You can rotate or revoke the link anytime.

Does MakeHay work in Canada?

Yes. Set your company's country to Canada and addresses use postal codes and provinces, with Canadian time zones for scheduling. Online payments are available to US businesses today; Canadian businesses record the checks and cash they collect in two taps.
