Schedule

The calendar that watches the sky for you.

Every scheduled visit is checked against the forecast at that job's actual address. Rain on the job day, temps too cold to cure, snow that triggers a plow route — you get warned before it costs you, and pointed to the clearer day. No other CRM does this.

The weather advantage

Warnings tuned to your trade, not generic forecasts.

Sealer needs 50°F and a dry cure window. Striping paint needs dry pavement. Plows need the opposite of everyone else. MakeHay ships trade-tuned weather rules — and lets you write your own per service, per line, per job.

  • Per-address forecasts on every scheduled visit
  • Rain, cure-temp, cure-window, and snow-trigger rules
  • Custom rules: your thresholds, your services
  • Clearer-day suggestions when a day goes bad

Built for real jobs

Multi-day jobs, split visits, recurring routes.

Outdoor work doesn't fit neat one-hour slots. Jobs are made of visits — two days this week, one next month — dragged around a month or week view. Weekly mowing routes repeat themselves.

FAQ

Common questions

Where does the weather data come from?

The National Weather Service, fetched for each job site's exact coordinates — not a citywide summary. Forecasts refresh automatically and each visit shows the conditions that matter to its work.

Can I set my own weather thresholds?

Yes. Preset rules cover the common trades, and you can write custom rules — minimum temp, rain probability, cure windows — and attach them to a service, a specific line, or one job.

What happens when weather kills a scheduled day?

The visit gets flagged with the specific problem ('rain in cure window', 'high of 44°F') and MakeHay suggests the nearest clearer day. Drag the visit there and the customer's job stays on track.
